The enhanting Rupso valley comprising Tsomoriri  is occupied by the local shepherds 'Changpas'. Tourists mostly visit Tsomoriri Lake in summer, as it is considered the ideal season for the marvellous natural beauty in the Rupso Valley. This beautiful blue pallet lake is about 7 KM wide at its broadest point and about 19 KM long. Being part of the wetland reserve under Ramsar site, it is actual known as Tsomoriri Wetland Conservation Reserve. Some of the attractions near the Tsomoriri Lake are the Korzok monastery, a Buddhist monastery in Korzok village, the Tsomoriri viewpoint, the Kayger Tso lake, Tso Moriri wetland reserve, and the Tsokar Lake (85 km).

Tsomoriri Lakeview Point

This hilltop serves as a vantage point from which one can view a massive part of the Tsomoriri lake. This place offers views that are going to take your breath away. You can easily watch the changing hues of the lake as well as the praiseworthy snowclad mountains nearby.

Kyagar Tso Lake

Kyagar Tso or Kyagar Lake is a small brackish lake surrounded by mountains situated in the Ladakh region of the northern Indian Union Territory of Ladakh in India. From afar, it can be spotted by its turquoise colour. It is a saline lake and is surrounded by the mountain fauna.

Korzok Monastery

The monastery was founded by Kunga Lodro Ningpo, the third Korzok Rinpoche around 300 years ago. The name ‘Korzok’ means ‘acquired by unfair means’. It is an independent monastery which houses a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha along with images and statues of other deities.
